Not even David Tennant, he’s THE DOCTOR. Occasionally The Doctor will go to cons, or take the train, or do normal things just to see how people react. Because, for every time he’s saved the universe, for every time he’s saved Earth, the best moments- to him- are the little moments of sheer awe and joy when he’s spotted. And then the spotter goes back to their soup or their iPod or whatever, and the moment has passed. But he holds onto it, he collects them, like stamps on his passport to the universe.
